MiNdependents, MiNdependents. MiNdependents...

Its time to take this blog in an entirely new direction. That of course is because Barack Obama has been elected President, and there's really no reason to try to convince you to vote for him anymore. I'm sure as the nation machetes its way through the steaming jungle of twisted legal opinions, jumbled reputations and screeching special interests that terrorize us along the trail, there will be plenty of opportunities for me to chastize your lack of faith.

If in fact Obama does lead us into ruin, well, I guess I didn't see it coming. I'll always argue we were headed there anyway if that does happen though. I'm sure Barack will get absolutely no chance to blame this mess on Bush. The moment he assumes office the republican talking heads will call this the Obama Depression and try to convince the pinheads out there that he caused it. Despite the fact that the market crash that caused it occurred well before the election even took place.

In any case, I'm going to be using this as the tinniest megaphone on earth to make my thoughts known to you. Its times like these I wish the english language was as rich as spanish, where there is a firm distinction between the plural "you" - as that last "you" there was probably interpreted - and the singluar "you" which might even be a stretch.
