One more big snowstorm please!

I'm a lover of snow. And more specifically, a hater of dirty snow. It sucks to see the snow getting all brown and disgusting. I'll take another dusting every day from now through mid april, then, a sudden jump to 80 degrees. That's my perfect end to winter. I hate this mid-February thaw crap. My friend says that "spring's a comin'". I beg to differ.

A lot.

Spring is NOT coming. Spring is still a month away, officially, and at least two months away here in Minnesota. Why doesn't anyone chart the final day of snowfall like I do? Last year it was April 21.

I don't actually chart it okay. But I keep a pretty good record in my head. Two years ago it was May 5. Cinco de mayo! And it snowed. You can take that to the bank. Maybe it was three years ago, make sure you check to see that the funds are in the account.

Anyway, I hate mid winter thaws. What I like is when it gets God DAMN! cold for a week or two. Which obviously already happend. But just the same, it tells you "You're half way there."

Incidentally, that happened like, two weeks ago, so get your head out of your ass and realize that we are still in the dead of winter. Be like me and hope for some snow to brighten the day. Everyone has an excuse to be late to work, every step you take is recorded for just a moment, like you actually matter, and all the crap in your day to day gets covered up for a week or so. Isn't winter wonderful?
