Hello, Minnesotan Independents!

Welcome to MiNdependents4Obama, the blog. Here I’ll be posting info and events that we hope will help elect Barack Obama as America's next President.
Right now, you might keep an eye out on the imminently more qualified and experienced blogs of www.independents4obama.blogspot.com where you will find people so determined and organized it will make you ashamed of yourself. It certainly does me. These guys are right on, hardcore and aren’t going to Shanghai you with rhetoric or try to get you to join some go-nowhere do-nothing, toe-the-line party. Exception to this rule being that there is some brain-trust work being done on getting independents such as ourselves to be “Democrat for a day” or “Republican for a day” to allow us our Constitutional right to vote in the primaries. I don’t remember reading anything about having to be a republican or democrat to pick a president, but that seems to be the case these days. So keep your eyes out there for more info on working with the system to change the system.

This site will probably start getting a lot more of my attention in the next few weeks, until then, keep an eye on the blog I mentioned above – I, they, we'll try to keep you updated on MN events until we split off to form elite splinter groups of grassroots commandos. I’ll be studying and training to bring my skills up to the level of knowledge and professionalism our mother-in-blog boasts, but I wouldn’t count on that too soon. Please bear with me. Keep whispering in shadowy places, talking in hushed tones and hoping with all your pent up frustration that we can change things in this country. Soon enough we’ll move on to soap-boxes and shouting from the rooftops.
