Still cold out...

Barack Obama was sworn in today, I was at the doctor's office getting a new splint because I guess ER doctors are not very good at it. Everyone was watching the inaguration, I think that's why a lot of my stuff took so long. I waited in the hall and listened to Obama's words waft from the staticky TV mounted in the lobby. The doctor I went to is in south Minneapolis, and believe me, its no republican stronghold. People in the lobby clapped and cried after Obama's speech. I was happy to see it, and disappointed at the prognosis: Another two weeks of immobility.

Saw a preview for Watchmen today, my friend wants to get midnight showing tickets at the IMAX. Wild horses don't really exist any more, but if they did, it would take a lot more than them to keep me away from that theater.

Baseball is the greatest game ever invented. And I'm getting itchy for the feel of a bat again. At practice, I'm taking swings with just one hand, so it doesn't really count. There's no real "CRACK!" when you use a rubber ball off a tee with one hand. Its more like "Phlooph." I can wait though, my new splint is way better and much more comfortable.

I keep getting calls from various local officials wanting me to participate in the upcoming (March 2 or 3) caucus. I want to say "Pass" but I know I should go vote for RT. I'm just sick of them calling while I'm at work or on sundays.
